Bay Street Yard to hosting FIFA World Cup watch parties
Bay Street Yard is hosting a series of FIFA World Cup watch parties on select dates in June and July.
Throughout the tournament, fans can gather at Bay Street Yard’s outdoor venue to watch Team USA, Mexico and many of the World Cup’s top international matchups. The series will pair game day energy and international rivalries with live entertainment and an immersive viewing atmosphere. Guests can watch the match on Bay Street Yard’s 8-foot by 13-foot LED TV screen with sound while enjoying themed drink offers during featured national team matchups, including $4 Michelob Ultra drafts and $7 Four Roses Old Fashioneds during USA games, along with $4 Modelo specials and $7 Corazon Margaritas during Mexico matches.
On Friday, June 19, Bay Street Yard also will feature a Casamigos activation from 3 to 5:30 p.m., including samples and FIFA-themed giveaways, including Casamigos souvenir cups for the first 250 cocktails sold. Guests additionally can purchase the specialty “Goal Digger” cocktail made with Casamigos Blanco, cucumber, agave and lime.
Additional featured events include USA vs. Paraguay on Friday, June 12, at 9 p.m.; Netherlands vs. Japan on Sunday, June 14 at 4 p.m.; England vs. Croatia on Wednesday, June 17, at 4 p.m.; Mexico vs. South Korea on Thursday, June 18, at 9 p.m.; USA vs. Australia on Friday, June 19, at 3 p.m.; Sweden vs. Netherlands on Saturday, June 20, at 1 p.m.; Mexico vs. Czechia on Wednesday, June 24, at 9 p.m.; USA vs. Turkey on Thursday, June 25, at 10 p.m.; and Colombia vs. Portugal on Saturday, June 27, at 7:30 p.m.
The watch parties for quarterfinals are scheduled for Thursday, July 9, at 4 p.m.; Friday, July 10, at 3 p.m. Semifinals are scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, and Wednesday, July 15, at 3 p.m. The series will conclude with the FIFA World Cup Final on Sunday, July 19, at 3 p.m.
