Bay Water Boat Club Founders Donate $2,000 to Naples Pride Organization
Company’s founders believe in equality for all
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (March 16, 2022) – The founders of Bay Water Boat Club have donated $1,000 each from the Boat Club organization and the Boat Club Community Fund to the Naples Pride organization. Naples Pride is a volunteer-based grassroots 501(c) (3) nonprofit whose mission is to unite and empower the LGBTQ+ community of SWFL, to educate and foster equality for all by providing emergency funds, counseling, housing and more since 2017.
Vice President of Bay Water Boat Club, Derrick Botana said, “Our family has always been philanthropic. We believe in equality for all, especially for those of the LQBTQ+ community. To spread the love, we have provided financial support to local organizations passionate about this cause like the Trevor Project, because we want love to win.”
The Bay Water Boat Club Community Fund is a 501 (c) (3) established in 2019 with the ongoing mission to support various community initiatives.
Bay Water Boat Club is an exclusive member only boat club. They also offer boat rentals to the public and are located in Bonita Springs with over 70 plus boats in their fleet. The Botana’s have owned and operated the company since 2006 and the property has been owned by the Botana’s since the early 70’s.
