Better Together, Roseland Global Methodist Church to host community job fair June 5 in Sebastian
Better Together, a nonprofit dedicated to families and children, is partnering with Roseland Global Methodist Church to host a community job fair for Sebastian-area residents on Thursday, June 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Registration is now open for hiring employers and job seekers to participate in the June event. The church-based job fairs not only connect job seekers with local employers who are ready to hire but also provide resources to facilitate stronger connections and more hires. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to job seekers to review resumes and additional services will be available onsite, including a clothes closet for men and women.
The June 5 job fair will take place at Roseland Global Methodist Church, located at 12962 Roseland Road in Sebastian. Job seekers and hiring employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/Roseland or by texting “JOBS” to 844-987-3949.
The community job fair is part of Better Together’s “Better Jobs” program, which has helped more than 40,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states. At job fairs hosted by Better Together, two-thirds of attendees get a job interview. So far this year, more than 2,000 interviews or jobs have been offered.

Better Together is a nonprofit organization that helps parents going through a hard time keep their kids out of foster care, find work and address the root causes of their struggle so that they can reunite as a family with the tools and support system to thrive. A privately funded and professionally supported organization, Better Together is made up of volunteers who believe helping people help themselves is the best way to restore dignity and bring families together.
