Bonita Springs YMCA to host annual charity golf scramble

Tournament proceeds support YMCA scholarship fund for youth development
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (Aug. 10, 2026) — The Bonita Springs YMCA will host its annual golf tournament, on Friday, Sept. 25 at Vasari Golf & Country Club at 11250 Via Del Vasari Drive in Bonita Springs, Florida.
The tournament is in memory of Hank Hochstetker, who was a leading member of the YMCA advisory board. Tournament proceeds will raise critical funds to support the Children and Families Scholarship Fund and its youth development, healthy-living, and social responsibility programs.
“This tournament honors Hank’s years of service and dedication to Bonita Springs, and gives us the opportunity to continue his efforts,” said Chris Sapp, vice president of operations. “These funds allow us to build a thriving community, where everyone has an opportunity to succeed no matter their circumstances.”
The tournament is open to golfers of all skill levels. Registration is $700 for a foursome, and $175 for an individual golfer. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, with awards and lunch to follow.
