Boys & Girls Club of Collier County adds Alex Breault as VP of teen initiatives

Alex Breault has joined Boys & Girls Club of Collier County as its vice president of teen initiatives.

Breault’s focus is connecting student members with local employers through a workforce readiness program that allows teens to explore career opportunities while helping employers build their future workforce. One of Boys & Girls Club’s core program areas is career development, but teen programs also cover character and leadership development – key traits employers are seeking in new hires.

“Strong economies hinge upon youth having the skills they need to secure meaningful, well-paid work,” said Boys & Girls Club President & CEO Megan McCarthy Beauvais. “The addition of Alex to our team will help us grow and develop programs to help young people succeed in jobs, entrepreneurship and ongoing career learning, as well as better connect young people with mentors, training providers and employers in our community.”

Before joining Boys & Girls Club, Breault was director of talent initiatives at the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, where she partnered with employers to address issues impacting the workforce while connecting future talent to local career opportunities in Southwest Florida. In 2021, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives named Breault to its Forty Under 40 list that recognizes the top emerging leaders in the chamber of commerce industry. In 2019, she participated in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Leads Fellowship Program to enhance her learning of workforce strategies.

Prior to joining the Greater Naples Chamber, Breault was executive assistant to the Collier County Supervisor of Elections. She was awarded a Master Florida Certified Elections Professional designation from the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections and Certified Elections Registration Administrator designation from the Election Center.

Breault earned a bachelor’s degree in business management, with a concentration in entrepreneurship, from Florida Gulf Coast University. She is a Leadership Collier Class of 2022 graduate and an Associate Leadership Collier Class of 2017 graduate. Breault serves on several community boards and co-chairs committees with the Future Makers Coalition and Future Ready Collier.
