Catherine Cruikshank joins Florida Senior Consulting as regional manager

Florida Senior Consulting has appointed Catherine Cruikshank, PhD, CDP, as Regional Manager of Collier County. Florida Senior Consulting partners with seniors and their families to assist with the journey of aging and the decisions that come with it.

In her role as regional manager, Cruikshank specializes in the education and advocacy of Collier County seniors and their families to help identify their needs and guide them to make informed decisions on senior living arrangements to assure their quality of care.

Cruikshank brings over three decades of experience in the field of dementia, which includes 14 years of experience as regional program director and director of education at the Alzheimer’s Association. She opened a dedicated memory care community in Naples and also expanded a memory care community in Fort Myers.

Cruikshank earned a master’s degree in geriatric administration and a doctorate degree in gerontology. Her research in the field of gerontology has been published in the International Journal of Gerontechnology, and she is the author of a training manual for understanding the behaviors of dementia patients, which is used in senior living communities nationally.
