Child Care of Southwest Florida CEO Chris Hansen named Top 30 Nonprofit Executives of 2022 by The Community Foundation

Child Care of Southwest Florida CEO Chris Hansen has been named to The Community Foundation’s 2022 list of Top 30 Nonprofit Executives.

The Community Foundation annually honors 30 inspiring nonprofit leaders who are considered some of the region’s most effective decision-makers and power influencers. Hansen was selected from a group of roughly 300 top executives across Southwest Florida. The top 30 honorees were determined through surveys sent to corporate sponsors, business owners, major donors, private funders and other community leaders. Executives from various large, mid-size and small nonprofit organizations were measured by their impact on the community during the previous 12 months.

“I’m truly honored to be recognized as one of the top 30 fundraising executives in Southwest Florida and for the work we are doing to strengthen and enhance the lives of children and their families,” said Chris Hansen, CEO of Child Care of Southwest Florida. “Our five high-quality nonprofit learning centers allow families to have access to quality early childhood education, ensuring even the most disadvantaged children can succeed in school and in life.”

Hansen leads Child Care of Southwest Florida in providing early learning education to more than 350 children across Lee and Hendry counties. Each of the organization’s five learning centers are accredited through the National Accreditation Commission for Early Learning Leaders and have been certified through the Gold Seal Quality Care Program of the Florida Department of Children and Families.

Honorees will receive a special award of appreciation at a private awards ceremony on Dec. 14 at FineMark National Bank & Trust in Fort Myers
