Entech Appoints New President
Martin Haas, Founder, CEO and President of Entech (www.entechUS.com), is proud to announce the appointment of Jake Spanberger as President of Entech as of November 1, 2013. In his new role, Spanberger will be responsible for the company’s overall performance, along with advancing the growth strategies of Entech and their clients. This news comes as Entech celebrates 15 years in business and its founder, Martin Haas, celebrates his 70th birthday.
“This is a day I have planned for, and the timing couldn’t be more right,” says Haas, who will maintain his role as the company’s CEO. “Fathers often dream of leaving a legacy to their children, and the day has come for me to leave mine to my stepson, Jake. He will continue to lead our company and clients to the next generation of advanced technology solutions.”
Spanberger, who is also an owner of Entech, has been fundamental in the company’s growth in clientele and revenue since his initial involvement in 2001. Spanberger joined the company after graduating from the University of Florida with degrees in both Marketing and Finance. Despite recruitment efforts from Fortune 500 companies, Haas was able to convince Spanberger to join his one-man business, which was known as Computer Tutor and operated out of Haas’ home at the time. Over the years, Haas and Spanberger have grown their staff to more than 20 employees serving hundreds of the most prestigious companies in Southwest Florida and beyond.
From day one, Spanberger has been intimately involved in all aspects of Entech, including operations, sales, marketing and human resources. He feels that the personality and character of his employees are as important as their experience. “Our great team of professionals understands the value of Entech’s unparalleled client experience and treats our clients with the respect and the attention to detail they deserve,” says Spanberger.
Spanberger will continue Haas’ legacy by operating under the same principles of the Golden Rule. He also plans to add even more valuable services to their current client-base and expand Entech’s unique service delivery process into additional markets.
“Applying the principles of the Golden Rule every day in our business provides us with a strong foundation in which we can build lasting and meaningful relationships with our staff and clients. We simply treat others the way we would like to be treated, with respect and honesty,” says Spanberger. “Our strong foundation and core beliefs have provided Entech with the ability to provide support to businesses of all sizes on a local, national and global scale,” he adds.
When not at Entech, Spanberger takes time to get involved in our local community. In 2012, he received the “40 Under 40” award from Gulfshore Business for his professional and community success. Spanberger is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers Sunrise, currently serving as Secretary. Last year he travelled to Korea for one month as part of Rotary’s Group Study Exchange (GSE) program. In addition, he is a regular attendee at various technical conferences and conventions across the country.
Entech provides effective technology solutions, monthly proactive maintenance and IT strategy consulting to Southwest Florida businesses. Rather than simply react to emergency IT needs, this approach helps to keep clients a step ahead of the curve. Managed IT Services, Help Desk support, IT budget planning, software updates, virus protection, managed Voice-Over-IP services, cloud computing, network administration and IT strategy consulting are just a few of the services and solutions the company provides.
Some local businesses that trust Entech with their IT services include Marine Concepts/JRL Ventures, Raymond Building Supply, Canterbury School, Junior Achievement, and Scott Fischer Enterprises’ Harley-Davidson dealerships across the United States.
“The best part of my job is seeing our clients experience what I call the ‘aha’ moment. It’s the moment when clients realize, for the first time, just how much Entech’s services can help their company succeed and grow. Our clients instantly have a dedicated team of engineers and IT professionals that are focused on helping them grow their business and remove their IT stresses,” says Spanberger.
Entech maintains its commitment to the community as exemplified by the company’s involvement with Quality Life Center, Southwest Florida Regional Manufacturers Association, Dunbar High School Business Advisory Board, Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership, Edison College Advisory Committee, Southwest Florida Workforce Board, and the Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Bonita, and Naples Chambers of Commerce.
Entech remains committed to helping businesses find IT solutions that enable them to grow and thrive. For more information, call 239-284-1785 or visit www.entechUS.com.
