Family Integrative Medicine adds two physicians to growing Central Florida practice

One of Central Florida’s leading regenerative medicine clinics is again bolstering its patient-care team with the addition of two new physicians specializing in acupuncture and chiropractic medicine.

Dr. Michelle Zamora joins Family Integrative Medicine as an acupuncture physician, relocating from South Florida, where she has practiced since 2012. Zamora brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, including positions in administration and operations as well as training as a licensed massage therapist.

Zamora earned a bachelor’s degree in health service administration from Florida International University and trained as an acupuncture physician at Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami. Zamora is also pursuing a doctorate degree from Pacific College of Health and Sciences.

The second new hire, Dr. Trevor Richard Lauffer, is a chiropractic physician who previously operated a rehabilitation clinic in Casselberry. A Pennsylvania native, he earned an undergraduate degree in kinesiology from Penn State University and his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida.

“We are exceedingly fortunate that Central Florida patients continue to embrace our practice’s commitment to providing holistic care and non-surgical treatment options for chronic pain relief,” said Dr. Eddie Rivera, co-founder of Family Integrative Medicine. “These two new additions to our patient-care team will only enhance our ability to help even more patients live healthy, productive lives.”

Family Integrative Medicine specializes in regenerative medicine, harnessing the power of the body’s innate stem cells with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy to help augment the body’s ability to heal itself, and other non-surgical treatment options for long-term illnesses and chronic conditions.

Its holistic approach integrates regenerative treatments with other services such as medical acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine, chiropractic care and physical therapy to address the root causes, not just treat surface-level symptoms.
