“Fathoms Friday Feeding Frenzy” comes to Cape Harbour
Fathoms Restaurant & Bar along with The French Press will be teaming up with Community Cooperative from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday August 7 and 14 to host “Fathoms Friday Feeding Frenzy,” a benefit concert event to promote the non-profit’s mission to eliminate hunger and homelessness in Lee County. Along with the food and fun these two evenings will bring, someone may soon win $5000.
Attendees who donate $10 or ($10 worth of) non-perishable food items during these Friday night concerts will receive a ticket for a free drink and be entered into the” Summer Drive for Hunger” drawing, which will award a $5000 cash prize on August 18 at Sam Galloway Ford.
Attendees who contribute will also be registered for a raffle for a Romantic Night Out for Two, which includes dinner at Fathoms, a select bottle of wine and dessert at The French Press. 10% of dinner sales at Fathoms during the event will be donated back to Community Cooperative.
Musical group Remedy will perform at the August 7 event, while Hoagie and The Carmichaels take to the stage on August 14. Don’t forget to check out Fathoms and The French Press the rest of the month as well, with live music every Tuesday and Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., and the best hits on Saturday nights by DJ Juan Gomez—and wind up every weekend with Sunday Funday from 4 to 7 p.m. with bloody Mary specials. Half-price pizza night is Wednesdays from 5 to 10 p.m.
