Food & Thought 2 to host Easter Family Fun Day
Food & Thought 2 invites families to celebrate Easter weekend with a free Easter Family Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, featuring a festive lineup of activities designed for all ages.
The community-focused event will include an Easter egg hunt, kids’ crafts and hands-on activities, spring-themed games and prizes, as well as opportunities for family photos. Guests can also browse the restaurant’s organic market and enjoy a relaxed holiday atmosphere centered around food, family and seasonal celebration.
The event is free and open to the public, with no reservations required.
The Family Fun Day complements Food & Thought 2’s broader Easter offerings, including a special three-course prix fixe dinner menu available April 2 through April 4. The chef-driven menu showcases seasonal, organic ingredients with selections such as roasted carrot and ginger soup, pan-seared seabass, maple glazed Easter ham, slow roasted prime rib and herb crusted rack of lamb, followed by strawberry shortcake for dessert.

On Saturday, April 4, guests can also enjoy a lineup of fresh, organic lunch specials available during Family Fun Day:
• Smoked Salmon Cucumber Sandwich ($22): Smoked salmon, whipped herb cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, thin-sliced cucumber, pickled red onion on brioche
• Turkey & Avocado Garden Sandwich ($20): Oven-roasted turkey breast, sliced avocado, tomato, baby arugula, choice of honey mustard or citrus garlic aioli on mozzarella rolls
• Grilled Veggie & Hummus Wrap (Vegan) ($18): Zucchini, squash, peppers, roasted red pepper hummus, spinach in a whole wheat wrap
• Avocado, Cucumber & Sprout Sandwich (Vegan) ($18): Smashed avocado, cucumber ribbons, alfalfa sprouts, citrus vinaigrette on honey wheat bread (served open face)
For guests celebrating at home, Food & Thought 2 is also offering an all-organic Easter Dinner To-Go package designed to serve four people. The meal includes a choice of baked ham or domestic lamb rack with mint sauce, paired with green beans, carrot medley and mashed potatoes, plus a choice of orange pound cake, carrot bundt cake or blueberry lemon pound cake for dessert. Orders must be placed by Friday, April 3 for pickup on Saturday, April 4.
