Fort Myers Brewing unveils specialty beers, final schedule for Winterfest on Dec. 14-17

Fort Myers Brewing Company has unveiled its specialty beer releases and event schedule for this year’s Winterfest event, to be held Thursday, Dec. 14 through Sunday, Dec. 17. The four-day, family-friendly event includes craft beer, food trucks, live music, a holiday handcrafted night market, free photo opportunities with the Grinch and a festive “Movie in the Parking Lot” screening of The Grinch.

The annual Winterfest event will showcase specialty releases including Keg Nog, a holiday-inspired imperial stout; Penny Lager, a copper lager; 2 Star’s Wish, a holiday ale; and a full taplist of popular beers and seltzers.

Live performances will take place throughout the weekend from Briz & Lady, Hat Trick, The Markleys and more. There will be local eats from Don’t Give Up, Fat Thor’s Smash Burger, Island Vibez Grill, King’s Tacos & Burritos, Pryceless Island Grill, South Co. Pizza, Viet Yum, Viva La Taco and Wicked Streatery, as well as canine-friendly fare from The Wiggle Bar.

· Holiday Handcrafted Night Market, featuring handmade goods from local artisans ranging from jewelry, soaps, candles and more
· Grinchmas Party featuring free pictures with the Grinch

Saturday, Dec. 16 (Noon to 11 p.m.)
· Food trucks: Viet Yum, Wicked Streatery
· Live music: The Markleys (4-7 p.m.)
· Movie in the Parking Lot: Special holiday screening of The Grinch (7 p.m.)

Sunday, Dec. 17 (Noon to 8 p.m.)
· Food trucks: Don’t Give Up
· Live music: Jeff Lyons (2 p.m.)
