‘FUNky Fashion Show’ raises record $68,600 for Pace Center for Girls, Lee

Pace Center for Girls, Lee raised a record $68,600 during its “FUNky Fashion Show” event, held May 9 at the Moose Lodge #2199 in Cape Coral.

The event featured a fashion show of one-of-a-kind recycled or repurposed pieces created by individuals and businesses, as well as “ready to wear” looks from Razzle Dazzle. In addition to the show, guests enjoyed food, cocktails, music, a silent auction and prize drawings throughout the evening. Proceeds from the event benefit Pace Lee and its strength-based programs that guide Pace girls in finding their voice and achieving their potential.

Pace Center for Girls, Lee provides free year-round middle and high school academics, case management, counseling, and life skills development in a safe and supportive environment that recognizes and deals with past trauma and builds upon girls’ individual strengths.
