Golisano Children’s Hospital publishes Back to School Kids First magazine

Golisano Children’s Hospital has published the latest issue of Kids First magazine, a free resource for Southwest Florida’s families and the region’s only publication solely dedicated to sharing expert-sourced pediatric health and wellness information. The special issue is complete with back-to-school advice and tips from local, expert physicians and health care providers with a focus on helping kids stay healthy this school year. Articles include:

• Nutrition & Exercise Play a Part in Overall Health: Small changes make a big difference
• Expert Care for Patients on the Autism Spectrum: Golisano Children’s Hospital’s work to help children with autism spectrum disorder
• Bike Safety Starts at the Top: Wearing helmets to save lives.

The purpose of the magazine is to help ensure children are the healthiest they can be, thus keeping hospital admissions down and experiencing better outcomes if hospitalization is ever necessary.
