Guadalupe Resale Shop is pulling high-end fashions and accessories directly from the showroom floor for its annual “Runway for Education” fashion show, which will be held March 10 in North Naples.
Volunteer models will walk the runway in designer fashions, including trendy cocktail and party dresses, business attire, formalwear, casualwear and athletic apparel, complemented by accessories like handbags, jewelry, hats and shoes.
“Attendees at our fashion show are often surprised at the quality of merchandise we sell on a daily basis, including apparel from Ann Taylor, Tommy Bahama, Vince Camuto, Calvin Klein and other designers,” said Greethel Leon, manager of Guadalupe Resale Shop. “It’s quite common for shoppers to come across dresses and jackets with the original tags still on, and those are some of the items that we’ll showcase during the event.”
Runway for Education begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, at Guadalupe Resale Shop, 12980 Tamiami Trail North, Unit 10, in Naples. Tickets are $25 per person and include light refreshments, a raffle and VIP access to a post-show private sale. Proceeds support Guadalupe Center, a nonprofit organization that provides high-quality educational programs for 1,950 students annually in Immokalee. Apparel not sold during the private sale will be available to the public starting March 11.
