Gulf Coast International Properties Sponsors Project HELP Naples
NAPLES, FLORIDA | February 8, 2024 – Agents at Gulf Coast International Properties® recently attended Project HELP’s “Be a Believer at the Elephant in the Room” gala, co-sponsored by GCIP, among other area businesses.
The Saturday, February 3rd fundraising event was held at Tiburon Golf Club and featured live and silent auctions, a spectacular jewelry pull, and live art display. The dazzling evening highlighted the local organization’s mission of providing hope, empowerment, and healing to those affected by sexual violence, sudden death, and other crimes.
The non-profit is staffed by professional counselors and advocates and provides the community with a 24/7 sexual assault crisis helpline, sexual assault response services, and crime victim advocacy along with other valuable services. The staff of 16 assist an average of 5,000 new clients and answer approximately 2,000 calls to the 24/7 helpline annually. The Project HELP Rape Recovery and Victim Services Center has served Collier County for 30 years.
The event was attended by two GCIP agents, Felicia Saraceno and Ruth Morency. Saraceno summarized the evening by stating, “Attending the Project Help event went beyond mere presence; it was a demonstration of solidarity with our community here in Collier County. The speakers’ resilience was inspiring, and the support offered by Project Help has proven invaluable.”
