Jessica Racine joins Guardian ad Litem Foundation as program assistant

The Guardian ad Litem Foundation, 20th Judicial Circuit, has hired Jessica Racine as program assistant to coordinate administrative, fundraising and operational tasks.

In this role, Racine helps facilitate communications between donors, volunteer child advocates and the children they represent. She also assists with social media content development, event planning, database monitoring, bookkeeping, maintenance of records and website content.

“Guardian ad Litem Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit with a very small administrative team,” said Jessica Stanfield, executive director of the Guardian ad Litem Foundation. “Jessica has proven her abilities to successfully multi-task in a variety of customer service positions, and that will be incredibly helpful in this role.”

The Guardian ad Litem Foundation supports court-appointed volunteer child advocates who represent Southwest Florida youth who have been abused, neglected or abandoned as they navigate the judicial, education and child welfare systems. The nonprofit raises funds that help meet a child’s health, educational and social needs.

Prior to joining the Guardian ad Litem Foundation, Racine worked in the aviation, hospitality and education industries in Texas, California and Vermont. Her roles included flight coordinator, guest experience host, client services assistant, client service specialist, customer service supervisor, director of admission and administrative assistant.

Racine earned an associate degree in hospitality and tourism at Community College of Vermont.
