KAJ Gallery held special book signing with Michelle Finnegan

KAJ Gallery held a special book signing on June 14 at the gallery located at 462 Tamiami Trail North in downtown Naples. Michelle Finnegan, author of What Does Your Garden Grow, was in attendance to sign copies of her new book and talked about her personal experience that gave her the inspiration.
The book was written in memory of her father and other victims and survivors of Hurricane Irma’s only special needs shelter where generators failed leaving hundreds of oxygen dependent people without oxygen converters or air conditioning.
The book signing event was free and open to the public. Guests enjoyed organic garden inspired delicacies provided by Café Nutrients during the book signing.
Finnegan launched a community wide event 15 years ago, benefiting 10 local charities with her Prints of Freedom which donates proceeds of her limited-edition prints to charities that help people inside the United States who are falling through the cracks.
Former Mrs. U.S of A Globe, philanthropist and local realtor Kristen Weardon from KW Consulting helped sponsor this event.
