Norman Love Confections introduces Cooking with Love classes for 2024

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Dec. 29, 2023) – The art of making chocolates is not just reserved for world-class chefs as Norman Love Confections invites would-be chocolatiers to experience the artistry of chocolate during its 2024 Cooking with Love classes.

Reservations are now being accepted for those interested in creating chocolate confections including truffles, molded confections, novelties and Easter eggs. Master chefs from Norman Love Confections will guide attendees step-by-step through a fun-filled 3-hour course as they learn to create decadent masterpieces of their own.

Molded chocolate classes are held on Jan. 12, March 1, May 3 and May 24. For those interested in being a chocolatier for a night, the Chocolate Masters at Norman Love Confections will teach attendees how to make the jewel-like treasures that Norman Love Confections is famous for during a hands-on, interactive three-hour course. The classes are perfect for individuals or groups who want to learn the art of making chocolates including everything from hand coloring to casting liquid chocolate to create decadent treasures of their own, which they will be able to bring home with them.

Chocolate truffle classes are offered Feb. 16 and April 5. Attendees will learn why the name “truffle” holds such an elegant and delectable place in the hearts of all. In this class, guests will master the 100-year-old art of truffle making. From the luscious hand-formed dark chocolate to the modern Swiss chocolate shell, students will create these treats with the guidance of master chocolatiers, and then bring their finished treasures home to enjoy.

On March 15 or March 22, guests can create their very own Easter egg chocolate sculpture filled with delicious Swiss milk truffles. Chocolatiers will guide attendees in hand-painting dark chocolate eggs while teaching them how to cast and assemble them. Guests will also learn how to create modern, shell-filled Swiss truffles and hide them inside their eggs. Finally, they will all be beautifully packaged and ready to give or enjoy.

A chocolate confections and novelties class will be offered on April 19 as attendees watch and learn how to make some of Norman Love’s all-time favorite confections. Students will learn to make luscious truffle pops, fudge, chocolate caramel squares and delicious fruit and nut-studded chocolate bark.

“Our cooking classes have grown in popularity and quickly fill up as our master chocolatiers offer an interactive, engaging way for attendees to learn about the artistry of chocolate and to create their own confections, novelties or seasonal chocolates to take home and enjoy,” said Norman Love, founder and owner of Norman Love Confections. “Not only do our chocolate students gain an appreciation for the chocolate-making process, but they enjoy learning more about our company as well as our commitment to using the finest quality ingredients available from around the world.”

Each class begins at 6:30 p.m. at Norman Love Confections, located at 11380 Lindbergh Blvd. in Fort Myers. The Cooking with Love classes cost $95 per person and require a reservation.
