Pace Center for Girls, Collier at Immokalee announces that it will award the annual PaceSetter award to the family of Mrs. Pat Barton in memoriam at the annual Believing in Girls Empowerment Luncheon on February 27, 2026, at the Ritz-Carlton Tiburon Golf Resort. This luncheon is Pace’s signature event and serves to provide awareness about Pace and fundraise for the unfunded needs of the center.
Pat served as the founding Board President of Pace Center for Girls, Immokalee, enriching the lives of countless young women since 1998. Pat was a driving force behind the acquisition of the property on which the center now stands, said Executive Director Marianne Kearns. When Pat and Marianne met in 2010, a special friendship was formed.
