Path 2 Freedom receives 2019 Diamond Volunteer Award from Kelly E. Capolino
Path 2 Freedom was honored as a Diamond Volunteer award winner at a cocktail reception held February 21 at Naples Art Association in downtown Naples. Kelly E. Capolino, local Realtor and philanthropist, is the founder and creator of the annual Diamond Volunteer Awards program which recognizes local charitable organizations for their work in the community.
A select group of volunteers and board members from Path 2 Freedom were treated to wine, canapés and a networking reception.
The reception was immediately followed by a Diamond Volunteer award ceremony with Capolino presenting a framed award to Ana and Jon Stevenson, founders of Path 2 Freedom.
The reception recognized the organization’s volunteers and thanked them their hard work, countless volunteer hours, and their willingness to be ambassadors for the organization. Path 2 Freedom’s mission is to create hope and healing for child victims of human trafficking by providing safe environments and long-term programs for recovery.
The group was selected from among many applicants for their valuable contributions they make in the lives of children who have been victims of human trafficking.
Capolino, a local award-winning real estate professional with Downing-Frye Realty, founded the award program in 2009 with the first awards presented in 2010. Each year groups are chosen based on their exceptional volunteer dedication and the positive influence that they make in the lives of others. This is the 30th award to be presented by Capolino’s Diamond Volunteer Program.
