Preferred Travel & Company Presents $25,000 Check to Guadalupe Center
Preferred Travel & Company was pleased to present Guadalupe Center with a $25,000 check on February 9, 2024. The money was raised through ticket sales to Preferred Travel’s Annual Travel Showcase event which was held in January. The “Ruby Reflection: A Journey of 40 Years,” was held at Artis-Naples this year with over 300 guests in attendance.
The leadership team of Preferred Travel held the check presentation at their Naples office and presented the check to Dawn Montecalvo, President of Guadalupe Center. The donation will help to support transformative education programs for more than 1,900 students in Immokalee. Guadalupe Center is a mission-oriented nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering educational initiatives to Immokalee’s students, empowering them to become self-reliant critical thinkers and lifelong learners.
Preferred Travel chooses a local charitable organization to receive 100% of their event ticket sales each year and has a long history of supporting local non-profits with the proceeds from their travel events. To date, they have now donated over $350,000 to local charitable organizations.
