SPADA-thon 4-hour spa services event set for Tuesday, May 24

SPADA Salon & Day Spa’s annual SPADA-thon is just days away. The twilight to sunset event featuring pampering treatments and luxurious fun is a fundraiser for PACE Center for Girls, Lee; the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida; and Valerie’s House of Hope. The event is set for 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 at Spada, 13161 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers.

Guests will enjoy specially-priced salon services, a silent auction, fashion boutique vendors, food, wine and music — all while making a difference in the community.

In 2015, SPADA-thon raised a record-breaking $23,000 to split between PACE Center for Girls and Golisano Children’s Hospital. SPADA owners Judy and Andrew Williams are determined to surpass that impressive sum this year, as they share the proceeds with another charity, Valerie’s House of Hope.

Attendees at this year’s event can look forward to $20 wet haircuts, $10 kids cuts, $15 mini-manicures, $10 brow or lip waxing, $15 chair massages and reflexology, botox and fillers, and plenty of fun and surprises, including clairvoyant/tarot card readings, Crystal healers and balloon pop prizes. Admission is one or more new or gently used dresses, handbags, accessories or shoes to be sold at Love That Dress! This annual shopping extravaganza features fashions from beach to bridal and GAP to Gucci, and last year raised more than $120,000 for PACE Center for Girls, Lee. In lieu of a donated item, a $5 donation will serve as admission. To make an appointment for services, call (239) 482-1858.
