STARability earns a 2021 GuideStar Platinum Seal

The STARability Foundation has earned the 2021 GuideStar Platinum Seal of Transparency. The nonprofit organization earned the designation by adding information about its finances, leadership, strategy and metrics to its profile on GuideStar, which is the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations.

The Platinum Seal will help community members, GuideStar users and other stakeholders find in-depth information about STARability’s mission, programs and leadership. The new information is available to more than 200 charitable websites and applications that use GuideStar data, such as AmazonSmile, Facebook and Network for Good.

According to GuideStar, more than 10 million donors, nonprofit leaders, grantmakers, government officials, academic researchers, and journalists use GuideStar data each year to make intelligent decisions about the social sector.
The STARability Foundation exists to Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing life-transforming opportunities that emphasize Teamwork and connection to the community to build Awareness and Respect for their individual abilities. A professional staff and more than 100 volunteers deliver a full calendar of engaging, innovative and creative programs to ensure that participants, ages 14 to 70, can live their best lives.
