STARability Foundation Presented Air Bar Blowouts & Extensions with a STAR Award
STARability Foundation presented a STAR Award to Heather and Tim Jackoboice, owners of Air Bar Blowouts & Extensions, to recognize their business for hiring a STARability Trailblazer Academy participant and for their commitment to inclusive employment.
Air Bar Blowouts & Extensions, located at 8050 Trail Blvd. in Naples, is one of 26 local area businesses and nonprofits who are helping others see the benefits of the Trailblazer program.
The Trailblazer Academy is a community-based program that combines vocational training at area businesses, employment readiness, independent living skills, academic education, health and fitness, and art enrichment experiences in an all-in-one curriculum.

It is truly a pleasure and a big help having Tori, one of the Trailblazer participants, work with us every week,” says Tim Jackoboice. “STARability is a wonderful organization, and we have nothing but the best to say about our entire experience and we look forward to working together for a long time to come.”
The STARability Foundation launched the Trailblazer Academy to address an unmet need in Collier County, for a full-time, post-high school program for young adults with intellectual (ID) and developmental (DD) disabilities. The Trailblazer Academy fills a gap in disability services by providing daily vocational training and education for individuals 18 years and older with ID/DD who have aged out of school services.
