Stevens Construction completes PopStroke Sarasota

Stevens Construction has completed PopStroke, an experiential golf and casual dining concept merging a dynamic, technologically advanced competitive golf environment with food and beverage, announced Mark Stevens, president, Stevens Construction, Inc.

Stevens Construction built a two-story 10,934-square-foot building, which includes an open-air restaurant with multiple open decks and covered dining areas and bars, commercial kitchen, restrooms, covered playground, beer garden and lobby with retail space. The cornerstone of PopStroke is the two 18-hole putting courses designed by TGR Design, which provides options for different skill levels and is unique to the PopStroke Sarasota location.

Located at 100 University Town Center, PopStroke Sarasota offers a wide variety of craft beer, wine, ice cream and food while delivering an interactive and competitive golf experience for players of all ages and skill levels. For more information, visit PopStroke.com.

The Sarasota location is PopStroke’s second location in collaboration with TGR Design. Stevens Construction completed a Fort Myers PopStroke location in September 2020 and has additional locations underway in Orlando and Wesley Chapel.

The Stevens Construction team included project executive, Shaun St. Dennis; project manager Peter D’Angelo, superintendent Aaron Garrison, and project administrator Patrice Miller. MHK Architecture & Planning is the architect of record.
