Storm Smart brings community and business leaders together to produce impactful public service announcements

It’s times like these that people across the nation come together to help one another. Things are no different here in Southwest Florida. Storm Smart just announced it has partnered with several business and community leaders to deliver a positive and impactful series of public service announcements (PSAs) that will air on television and online during the next few months in response to COVID-19.

Known as the largest manufacturer and installer of storm protection products for homes and businesses, Storm Smart, developed and produced the PSAs urging the community to come together as one to support the most vulnerable people, businesses, and nonprofits in Southwest Florida.

These PSAs will air on television stations in Southwest Florida as a reminder to stay calm, stay safe and stay strong. As the coronavirus pandemic disrupts our daily lives, the Storm Smart PSAs remind everyone to support local businesses, help neighbors, maintain proper hygiene, and donate to local food pantries.

Storm Smart Executive Chairman and Founder Brian Rist says, “Our most vulnerable communities and populations are going to need us to come together to support one another in order to survive and thrive once this has passed. During these uncertain times we need to stand united, stay strong and support one another through this pandemic.”

Appearing in the PSAs are many recognizable faces from across Southwest Florida, including: Bonita Springs Mayor Peter Simmons, Cape Coral Mayor Joe Coviello, Fort Myers Mayor Randy Henderson, Lee County School District Superintendent Dr. Greg Adkins, Community Cooperative CEO Tracey Galloway, Harry Chapin Food Bank President and CEO Richard LeBer, Southwest Florida Community Foundation President and CEO Sarah Owens and Storm Smart Executive Chairman and Founder Brian Rist.
