Sunshine Ace Hardware to distribute free American flags in advance of Memorial Day
Sunshine Ace Hardware retail stores across the region will be distributing free American flags to honor U.S. veterans in advance of Memorial Day.
On Saturday, May 25, the first 240 customers at each Sunshine Ace Hardware location in Southwest Florida will receive a free 8” by 12” American flag. A purchase is not required. There is a limit of one flag per customer.
“With all that’s going on in the world today, Memorial Day weekend is an opportune time to pause and reflect about the sacrifices that veterans have made to protect America’s freedom,” said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. “Every American should have a flag in their home, and we are honored to participate in this important initiative each year.”
Through its One Million Flag Giveaway, Ace Hardware Corporation is honoring American veterans by donating flags to customers as well as Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) posts nationwide to place on veterans’ graves.
Flags will be available at these participating Sunshine Ace Hardware stores, while quantities last.
