The Founders Fund Announces 2017 Board of Trustees

The Founders Fund, Inc. is pleased to announce their 2017 Board of Trustees. The local 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization was founded in 1991 and provides financial assistance to students from Collier County in their pursuit of a higher education.

The Founders Fund Board of Trustees includes: Rob McNaghten as Chairman of Board, Meg Tyre as Vice Chair, Adam Crescenzi as Treasurer, Karla Albanese, Susan Brown, Dick Censits, Jean Ensley, Rick Ermler, Michele Farrell, Tom Lear, Jim Marinelli, Mollie Moffatt, Maureen O’Gorman, Schuyler Peck, Karen Pulte, and George Thomas.

Each year, The Founders Fund awards approximately 25 to 27 Collier County students with $8,000 scholarships for college and post high school education. Students receive $2,000 per year so long as they maintain a B average or better in their college studies. Currently the Founders Fund provides college scholarships for 110 Collier County high school graduates.
