The Founders Fund Increases annual student scholarships

The Founders Fund, Inc. is proud to announce they have increased their student scholarships from $2,000 per year to $2,500 per student starting with 2017 scholarship recipients.

“Our Founders Fund board of trustees recognizes the importance of changing lives through higher education,” says Rob McNaghten, Founders Fund Chair. “The board voted unanimously to increase the annual scholarships this year.”

The Founders Fund currently provides scholarships to more than 100 students attending 34 different colleges throughout the United States.

The Founders Fund, Inc., founded in 1991, is a non-profit/tax-exempt charitable organization. Since its inception, over 600 students have been awarded more than $3 million in scholarships. Last spring, 25 Collier County students were awarded $8,000 scholarships for college and post high school education. The renewable scholarships have been given in the amount of $2,000 each year to students maintaining a B average or better in their college studies. This year, scholarships will be increased to $2,500 per year equaling a $10,000 scholarship for new incoming students.
