The Jac toasts dad with brunch, dinner special, music

Families can treat their dads to a feast this Father’s Day at The Jac Sanibel Island Bar and Grille. The new restaurant on Periwinkle Way is hosting a delectable brunch on Sunday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by an exceptional dinner special and live music.

The Captain’s Breakfast is one sure way to show dad you love him a brunch. It features two eggs, four pieces of bacon or pork belly, roasted potatoes, fresh baby heirloom tomatoes and toast for just $10. Guests can also choose from steak and eggs or pork belly hash.

The Father’s Day menu also includes mouthwatering dishes like eggs Benedict on housemade English muffins with the choice of bacon or pork belly, topped with hollandaise and accompanied by potato hash, all for just $12. The housemade bread pudding French toast is topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar for $9. The Jac’s artistic mixologists will pour bloody marys and mimosas for just $6.

The celebration continues at dinner, when the family-run restaurant dishes out its Surf & Turf special for just $49. It includes a 14-ounce ribeye or an 8-ounce filet served with lobster tail, appetizer, soup or salad, and dessert. The Jac’s Manhattan and Old Fashioned will be 50% off.

The sounds of Tony G and The Doc will get everyone moving on Father’s Day from 5-9 p.m. at the back bar, where happy hour lasts all day. Live music happens every night with popular acts like the Renata Band and Neon Summer playing weekends. To see The Jac’s full event calendar, visit thejacsanibel.com/events.
