The School District of Lee County to host Classroom Careers: Networking and Recruitment Event Dec. 9

The School District of Lee County is hosting Classroom Careers: Networking and Recruitment Event on Thursday, Dec. 9, providing insight on careers as teachers, guest teachers and paraprofessionals within the District.

With a growing enrollment of more than 95,000 students and 120 schools, the District is looking to connect talented, high-energy candidates with instructional and non-instructional vacancies for the upcoming school year. Positions are available across the District with a focus on high-demand positions like English, elementary education, science, math and special education, as well as for guest teachers and paraprofessionals.

During the Classroom Careers event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with principals and District representatives and learn about the variety of career paths available. Candidates may also be offered an interview with the potential to be hired on the spot.

Classroom Careers will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 9 at the Lee County Public Education Center, located at 2855 Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers. Light bites will be provided by culinary program students from East Lee County High School. To register by Dec. 7, click here.
