Tickets available for the 25th Annual ‘Dinner on the Diamond’ on March 15

Tickets are available for the 25th Annual Dinner on the Diamond, which will be held March 15 at JetBlue Park at Fenway South.

Each year, the event has allowed attendees to have dinner on the ballfield with appearances and autographs from Boston Red Sox celebrities, a silent auction of sports memorabilia and entertainment. VIP packages include tickets to the Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins game that will be played before dinner. This year the availability of players, autograph sessions and spring training games before the event depend on the status of the MLB lockout.

Funds raised at the event will support neurosurgical services being developed at Golisano Children’s Hospital. The hospital plans to recruit world-class neurosurgeons to the region in collaboration with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital as well as equipping a state-of-the-art pediatric neurosurgical suite. Fundraising for the new specialty is supported by a $1 million matching grant by The Wasie Foundation.

The event starts with VIP appetizers and drinks at 5 p.m., VIP autographs from 5:30-5:45 p.m. and dinner by Outback Steakhouse and BoneFish Grill at 6 p.m.

Ticket packages include VIP tables for $1,000 that includes eight tickets to the game, a reserved table for eight and VIP access with appetizers and drinks; a table for eight is $575; a VIP ticket includes one ticket to the game and VIP access for $150; individual tickets to the dinner are $75 for adults and $35 for children.

The Red Sox, which have held spring training in Fort Myers since 1993, raise money for Lee Health Foundation with the annual Boston Red Sox Celebrity Golf Classic, Green “Tee” Party and Dinner on the Diamond events.
