Tickets on sale for inaugural Taste of Freedom
Southwest Florida Regional Human Trafficking Coalition is pleased to host the inaugural Taste of Freedom on Saturday, Apr. 9 from 6 – 9:30 p.m. at Scanlon Lexus of Fort Myers, located at 14200 S. Tamiami Trail. This fun-filled evening features over $25,000 of live auction items, a live band, chef stations with delectable food and wine tastings. A raffle will take place with one lucky individual winning a 24-month lease on a 2016 Lexus. A surprise guest will serve as the Master of Ceremonies throughout the evening and masks will be provided at the door for all guests.
The event will raise awareness of human trafficking in our community, unmask the realities of human trafficking and celebrate the empowerment of its survivors. All proceeds raised through the Taste of Freedom event will benefit the Southwest Florida Regional Human Trafficking Coalition.
Event tickets are $75 and can be purchased at SWFL-humantrafficking.org. Tables are available for purchase as well.

Southwest Florida Regional Human Trafficking Coalition strives to raise awareness of sex and labor trafficking in southwest Florida, the United States and around the world. Its goal is to develop partnerships with the community, service providers, law enforcement and the media to combat human trafficking through education, coordination, outreach and training. Numerous services are provided, including emergency services, shelter, mental health services, treatment plans, housing, transportation, legal assistance, medical services and hotlines on the local, state and national levels.
