Tickets on Sale for the 9th Annual Bonita Springs Short Film Festival- Thursday, April 18th Theme ” Laugh Out Loud Bonita”

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (March 27, 2024) – The excitement is building as the 9th annual Bonita Springs Short Film Festival makes its much-anticipated return. This year’s event, which is themed “Laugh Out Loud Bonita,” promises an evening of entertainment and a celebration of cinematic creativity.

Scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 18th the red-carpet gala will unfold at Prado Stadium 12 Theatre in Bonita Springs. Festivities include refreshments, photo opportunities, and music starting at 6 p.m. Sean Martinelli, NBC2 news anchor, is the evening Master of Ceremonies. The 2024 competition theme, “Laugh Out Loud Bonita,” invites filmmakers of all backgrounds, ages, and experiences to showcase their storytelling prowess on the grand silver screen. Embracing any genre, filmmakers are encouraged to captivate audiences with narratives that evoke laughter and joy. Submissions range from 1 to 10 minutes, ensuring a thrilling story for all attendees.
Diverse award categories include Best Overall, Best Depiction of Bonita Springs, Most Original, Best Film Under 18, and the esteemed People’s Choice Award. Antonio Correia, founder of the festival, expresses anticipation and much-needed laughter this year.
