Yolanda Gomez and Katie McAda elected to Y.E.S! board
Co-founding members Jen Diederich and Noelle Casagrande are pleased to announce Yolanda Gomez and Katie McAda have been elected to serve as president and vice president, respectively, of Y.E.S! Y.E.S! provides its members with volunteering, fundraising and networking opportunities to champion the mission of Dress for Success, an international not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of women.
Gomez is a senior event attendance specialist at Gartner. Previously, she had completed the Retail Management Program through Nordstrom, and worked as a European product marketing coordinator for Forester Research in London. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Texas A&M and an MBA in international business.
“Dress for Success is such an amazing organization that helps women by supporting them in their journey toward economic independence,” Gomez said. “Our networking group allows local professionals the opportunity to expand their professional network while positively impacting the community.”
McAda is a TIBCO BusinessWorks developer in the IT Department at Chico’s FAS. She graduated from New Mexico State University three years ago and relocated to Fort Myers to serve as an intern in the Executive Management Training program at Chico’s.
McAda said, “Since moving to Fort Myers, I had been searching for a great organization to volunteer with and I am glad to have found Y.E.S! and Dress for Success SW Florida. I believe it is so important for women to have somewhere to go that helps them find themselves, and develop their strengths and skills in order to find meaningful and fulfilling employment opportunities.”
