Meridian Bank donates $1,500 to Bonita Springs YMCA
Donation to support programs and scholarships
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — (Dec 17th, 2025) Meridian Bank donated $1,500 to the Bonita Springs YMCA on November 12th. The donation will help expand programs that support youth, promote healthy living and serve vulnerable members of the community. The donation will also contribute to providing scholarships, so children can participate in after-school care and summer camp. These programs encourage families to stay active, while supporting community initiatives that foster connection and resilience.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Meridian Bank for their generous support,” said Chris Sapp, Vice President of Operations of the Bonita Springs YMCA. “Their contribution allows us to continue serving youth and families across Bonita Springs through programs that promote healthy living, confidence, and connection.”
Meridian Bank’s Bonita Springs branch officially opened on November 12, 2025 – the first full-service location in Florida and led by SWFL Retail Market Leader, Lorrie Kopko. Meridian Bank supports the Bonita Springs YMCA and its mission to strengthen individuals, families and the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
