Dress for Success SW Florida names prominent businesspeople as officers
Barbara Dell, CEO of Dress for Success SW Florida, is pleased to announce the new officers and members of the board of directors and advisory board, which will set the direction for the organization to empower greater numbers of women in the community to obtain safer and better futures. Karen Anderson of Shell Point Retirement Community is the new president of the board, with Julio Barina of Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company serving as vice president. Terri Sobeck of Stevens Construction ascends from the advisory board to serve as secretary and treasurer. Immediate Past President Barbara Melvin is now employed as Business Development Director of Dress for Success SW Florida, managing Collier and Lee Counties.
A new member is Chandra Spary of Card Systems, who joins an impressive roster of community-minded business people on the board of directors, including Joanne Show of Central Bank, Noelle Casagrande-Montgomery of Chico’s FAS, Connie Ramos-Williams of CONRIC PR & Marketing and Shiree Woody of Waterman Broadcasting.
Erica Castner of Queen of Results Business Coaching & Consulting has been named chair of the advisory board, with Caryn Smith of Rodan & Fields as co-chair. New to the advisory board are Cherie Rodriguez of Thirty-One Gifts, Lauren Wilson of White House Black Market, Tammy Pagano of Florida Southwestern College and Tracy Price of Glen Ballenger Law. Existing advisory board members are: Victoria Ramina of Lee County School District, Michelle Hoover of Alexander & Hoover CPAs, Lynn Brewer of Platinum PEO Resources, April Bordeaux of CONRIC PR & Marketing, Christine Sherlock of Image Matters, Gail Williams of Hodges University and Shelley Cahill of Shelley’s Casual Elegance.
The mission of Dress for Success SW Florida is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women in Lee and Collier Counties thrive in work and in life.
