Fort Myers Brewing to host fundraiser Nov. 6 for local musicians impacted by Hurricane Ian

Fort Myers Brewing Company is hosting a Day of Beer & Music on Sunday, Nov. 6 from noon to 8 p.m., a fundraiser to benefit local musicians who were severely impacted by Hurricane Ian.

The brewery is rallying the community to support Southwest Florida musicians by bringing in several live acts for a day of entertainment and fundraising. Donations are being collected at the brewery and online at FMBrew.com to go directly to local musicians to support their recovery.

Live performances include:

• Gator Nate: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
• Caleb Neff and Claire Liparulo: 1:45 to 3 p.m.
• Ralph Curtis: 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.
• Matt Walden: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
• David Rojas: 5:45 to 6:45 p.m.

MAD Brunch Food Truck will also be onsite serving up specialty dishes throughout the day.

“Many of Southwest Florida’s beloved beach destinations were lost in the storm – these were also regular performance venues that local musicians rely on financially. Furthermore, many have lost their homes as well as equipment that they need to support their families,” said Jen Whyte, co-owner of Fort Myers Brewing Company. “We have been so grateful for the incredible musicians who have performed at our brewery over the years, and our hope is to encourage our community to be part of the solution to help them get back on their feet.”

The Nov. 6 Day of Music & Beer will be held at Fort Myers Brewing Company’s taproom, located at 12811 Commerce Lakes Drive, Suite 28, in Fort Myers. For more information, visit Facebook.com/FMBrew or call 239-313-6576.
