FREE Low Dose CT Lung Cancer Screenings this November
NOVEMBER IS LUNG CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Cape Coral, FL: 4 Words Foundation, in collaboration with Radiology Regional Centers, will be providing up to 35 FREE Low Dose CT Lung Cancer Screenings during the month of November. These screenings are available to full-time residents of Lee, Charlotte, and Collier Counties.
Screenings are available to uninsured and insured individuals who do not meet the criteria of the insurance policies, current/past smokers under age 55, non-smoking individuals ages 18-70 without/with insurance affected by second-hand smoke or those with environmental/occupational concerns.
Anyone interested must first register through 4 Words Foundation’s website at: https://www.4wordsfoundation.org/free-lung-cancer-screening. Spaces fill up fast and last year’s event was filled by August.
Once registered the individual’s name will be provided to Radiology Regional. Individuals will then be contacted by Radiology Regional to schedule exam. No physician order is required but you must provide physician name to receive the results. Space is limited and Restrictions apply.
