Galentine’s Night offers evening of pampering, networking for Sarasota-area women on Feb. 13
Women from across Sarasota and Manatee counties are invited to Galentine’s Night, a Feb. 13 event that features an evening of pampering, friendship and networking to benefit families of children with cancer.
Guests at the Valentine’s Day-themed event will enjoy champagne spritzers, appetizers, raffle prizes, massages, mini makeovers, complimentary body stretches, shopping opportunities and more.
Proceeds from Galentine’s Night will support The Payton Wright Foundation, a Sarasota-based nonprofit organization that assists families who have children being treated for brain and spinal cord malignancies. The organization was founded in honor of Payton Wright, a 5-year-old girl who passed away in 2007 after battling Medulloepithelioma, a very rare form of brain cancer.
“Galentine’s Night is the perfect event for a fun girls’ night out to just kick back and pamper yourself for the evening,” said Linda Vernon, marketing manager for Advocate Radiation Oncology. “Knowing that you’re supporting a good cause makes the night that much more enjoyable.”
Galentine’s Night will run from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13 at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota, 6400 Edgelake Drive in Sarasota. Tickets are $15 each and available online at AdvocateRO.com/GalentinesNight. Capacity is limited to 75 women.
Galentine’s Night is being sponsored by Advocate Radiation Oncology, Encompass Health and The Payton Wright Foundation.
