Haven Of Hope International and New Life Academy Join Forces to Bring Christmas Joy to Children Globally and Locally.

Fort Myers, FL – Fort Myers’ Haven of Hope International (HOHI) and New Life Academy have partnered to support local outreach efforts in Southwest Florida and bring a genuine Christmas celebration to vulnerable children living at HOHI partner orphanages worldwide. For many orphaned children this marks the first experience of a true Christmas, complete with gifts under a Christmas tree and a delicious holiday feast.

New Life Academy has committed to being Fort Myers’ tree sales hosting site for the BuyATree 2023 program. The funds generated from Christmas tree sales at New Life Academy will be purposely distributed: half of the proceeds will directly benefit children in Southwest Florida, while the other half will go towards providing a Christmas filled with joy for the 225+ children residing at HOHI’s six partner homes globally, as well as at the Heart of Florida Youth Ranch in Citra, FL.

Alice Sweet, Founder of HOHI, enthusiastically explains, “Through this initiative, we will be able to make this Christmas season unforgettable for children who may not have experienced the joy of the holidays before. Our collaboration with New Life Academy and the BuyATree program offers the Fort Myers’ community a special opportunity to be an integral part of bringing Christmas joy to those less fortunate.”

The Fort Myers’ community is encouraged to make a difference today by purchasing a tree. Christmas trees are available for purchase at the New Life Academy site located at 3348 Edgewood Ave., Fort Myers, FL 33916. Trees will be available until supplies last during these days and times:
Monday – Friday: 2:00PM -8:30PM
Saturday: 10:00AM – 8:30PM
Sunday: 3:00PM – 8:30pm
