Jeff Blair joins Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County as VP of resource development

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County has hired Jeff Blair as the nonprofit’s vice president of resource development, a role focused on securing funds to enhance club programs and facilities.

Blair provides leadership and direction to the organization’s CEO and Board of Directors for all development activities through a multi-year Resource Development Plan that identifies measurable goals and is aligned with the organization’s strategic plan. He is responsible for donor stewardship and cultivation, grant writing, corporate and community partnerships, database management and budgeting. Additional duties include event planning and execution, board recruitment and development, marketing and public relations.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County operates After-school Programs and Summer Enrichment Programs at eight community, neighborhood and school-based clubs. Programs serve members ages 6 to 18.

Prior to joining Boys & Girls Clubs, Blair was director of advancement and development at Evangelical Christian School in Fort Myers, where he led fundraising, philanthropic and development initiatives. He also has experience as owner of Berringer Brands and district manager for Coach and Timberland.

Blair studied business administration at Shepherd University.
