John Burgess represented Preferred Travel of Naples At ACCOR Advisory Board Meeting in Istanbul
John Burgess, Manager – Leisure Travel Division of Preferred Travel of Naples, recently attended the ACCOR Travel Agent Advisory Board meeting in Istanbul, Turkey.
As an Advisory Board member, Burgess represented Preferred Travel at the annual meeting which was held at the Raffles Istanbul Hotel, one of ACCOR’s many luxury hotels.
The Advisory Board is made up of 22 high level representatives of the country’s leading agencies, along with a few agencies from Brazil, Canada, United Kingdom, France and Ireland. There were 10 members who are senior executives of the ACCOR Hotel Group: Sofitel, Raffles, Fairmont, M Gallery, plus marketing and VP’s of Global Sales and Global Luxury Sales in attendance. Preferred Travel is the only agency in the Southern United States to be included.
With the help of Advisory Board representatives from around the world, the meeting was held to review policies, new plans and strategies, acquisitions, additions to the portfolio, and marketing strategies.
