FORT MYERS, FL (September 28, 2021) â The Childrenâs Advocacy Center (CAC) of SWFL will celebrate 40 years of providing services to children and families on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Burroughs Home. Since 1981, The Childrenâs Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida, Inc. (CAC), a United Way partner agency, has worked to improve the lives of children and their families through a coordinated response to child abuse and neglect, offering them a safe and friendly environment in which to heal. The CAC provides abuse determination services as well as therapeutic counseling, parenting education, Beesleyâs Paw Prints pet therapy program, and prevention programs in Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Charlotte Counties.
