Leslea Ellis, LLC Joins Forces with Legal Community to Raise Funds for Charity
FORT MYERS, FL — July 16, 2014 — During the month of June, local CPA firm Leslea Ellis, LLC teamed up with members of the legal community to support two non-profits serving the less fortunate in our community.
On June 19th, Leslea Ellis, LLC helped to underwrite the Lee County Association of Women Lawyers’ Annual Fashion Show and Spa Event to benefit the Lee County Legal Aid Society. Guests were treated to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and spa services at Dragonfly Spa and Salon in Fort Myers while enjoying a fashion show courtesy of Lindsay Nicole Boutique. The event raised over $1,750 which will be used to provide legal representation in family law situations to residents who cannot otherwise afford it.
Additionally, the firm sponsored a hole on behalf of the Lee County Legal Aid Society at the Lee County Bar Association’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament on June 28th. Hosted at Pelican Preserve Golf Club, the tournament brought in over $23,000 for PACE Center for Girls which offers year-round counseling and academic services for at-risk girls, ages 12-18.
