MetroLagoons announces Christmas in July celebration July 24-26
MetroLagoons is celebrating Christmas in July with a weekend full of holiday cheer across its four lagoons.
From July 24-26, activities will take place across the greater Tampa and Southwest Florida regions. Guests can enjoy a summer-inspired twist on holiday traditions with a mix of festive, family-friendly experiences throughout the weekend.
Santa is making a special summer appearance for photos and early wish lists, while the Grinch will stop by for meet-and-greets with guests to see if a little extra cheer can help grow his heart this summer. High-energy Elf Dance Party performances will bring holiday spirit to life with music, dancing and interactive fun, and the First Snow of Summer Foam Party will transform The Hub with a flurry of frothy fun as mountains of foam “snow” fill the air. Additional activities, including balloon twisters and airbrush artists, will add to the excitement.

Mirada Lagoon, located at 31461 Mirada Blvd. in San Antonio
o July 24: Santa comes to town and balloon twister (6 to 9 p.m.)
o July 25: Elf dance party and airbrush artist (6 to 9 p.m.)
o July 26: Foam party (1 to 4 p.m.) and Grinch meet and greet (2 to 3 p.m.)
Southshore Bay Lagoon, located at 16881 Lagoon Shore Blvd. in Wimauma
o July 24: Foam party (6 to 9 p.m.) and Grinch meet and greet (7 to 8 p.m.)
o July 25: Santa comes to town and balloon twister (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
o July 26: Elf dance party and airbrush artist (5 to 8 p.m.)
Brightwater Lagoon, located at 8630 Sunny Page Lane in North Fort Myers
o July 24: Elf dance party and airbrush artist (6 to 9 p.m.)
o July 25: Foam party (6 to 9 p.m.) and Grinch meet and greet (7 to 8 p.m.)
o July 26: Santa comes to town and balloon twister (1 to 4 p.m.)
In addition to the weekend festivities, guests can also enjoy MetroLagoons’ signature attractions, including acres of clear blue water surrounded by sandy beaches and lounge chairs, a resort-style swim-up bar, food trucks, floating obstacle courses, paddleboard and kayak rentals and more.
Both Brightwater Lagoon and Epperson Lagoon have recently debuted brand-new obstacle courses, featuring jumping spots over 12 feet tall, new slides, monkey bars and more.
