Toast to National Tequila Day at July 16 Margaritaville Beach Resort tasting experience
In honor of National Tequila Day, JWB Grill at Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach will host its signature monthly wine dinner with a special twist: a toast to tequila, taste and tropical luxury.
The Toast to Tequila tasting dinner will make its appearance at JWB Grill, the resort’s perfect blend of casual sophistication and laid-back hospitality, on Thursday, July 16, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. As part of JWB Grill’s monthly wine dinner series, Toast to Tequila will swap fine wines for premium tequilas, celebrated for their depth, character and vibrant flavor profiles.
The tasting dinner will include a thoughtfully crafted four-course dinner with a Gulf view, with each course expertly paired with handcrafted tequila cocktails. The dinner menu includes:
• First Course: Chicken tamale – roasted corn and fried jalapeños; paired with the Que Bueno – Reserva de la Familia Platino, Giffard Apricot liqueur, White Port, Cointreau and tonic
• Second Course: Pineapple shrimp salad – shrimp, pineapple, peppers, red onion, avocado and margarita key lime dressing; paired with the Sol de Marrakesh – Don Julio Reposado, Ancho Reyes, saffron syrup, blood orange and lime
• Third Course: Pork loin roulade – stuffed pork loin, chorizo, fresca cheese, red chimichurri, roasted corn and refried white beans; paired with the Gulf Cartographer – Patron Silver, Yellow Chartreuse Brandy, dry vermouth, honey syrup, orange juice, rosewater and grapefruit soda
• Finale: Foster Rita – brown-butter tequila cake, flambéed tequila banana caramel sauce and ice cream; paired with the Coco-Mango Margarita, featuring Cazadores Blanco, Triple Sec, agave, mango puree, lime juice and coconut
