Preferred Travel of Naples celebrates three 20-year anniversaries

Preferred Travel of Naples is celebrating the 20-year anniversary for three of their travel advisors. John Burgess, Suzanne Dennis and Connie Moody all joined the Preferred Travel team in 2002 after McDaniel’s Travel Advisors, their previous agency, was impacted by the devastating event of 9/11.

While the travel industry was hit hard in 2001, the McDaniel’s team decided to join Preferred Travel because of their stellar reputation. The move gave them the opportunity to focus solely on their clients. Burgess, Moody and Dennis joined Preferred Travel as a team and have been working alongside each other since.

Burgess, a Naples resident since 1969, is the Manager of the Leisure Travel Division at Preferred and has been helping clients with their dream vacations and travel since 1992. He states that becoming a part of the Preferred Travel family has been the best experience of his career as it has given him access to the best technology, insider travel information, and contact with company principals in all areas of the industry that have helped him provide the best travel experiences possible.

Dennis has lived in Naples for 68 years and is a Senior Luxury Travel Advisor; she has been working in the travel industry for the past 38 years. Besides having her own luxury travel clients, she assists Burgess and Moody with travel details and itineraries. She says she loves to travel with an open heart and open mind as you never know what wonderful adventures are awaiting.

Moody, Senior Luxury Travel Advisor, has been a resident of Naples since 1989 and a travel advisor for the past 35 years. Before joining Preferred, she owned an art gallery and cruise only travel agency. Moody is well-traveled and says it has been her privilege to visit 118 countries during her travel career. She is known for her extensive travel knowledge and has hosted many of her clients on worldwide adventures.
