SAVE the DATE Dining for the STARs to benefit STARability Foundation

STARability Foundation will be presenting its 2021 premier fundraising event, Dining for the Stars, on Saturday, Feb. 27. This virtual fundraising event will feature dinners and watch parties hosted by donors and supporters in their homes that will culminate with an exciting live auction and fund-a-need online.

Stofft Cooney Architects is the title sponsor for Dining for the STARs, and Jennifer Haire and Rochelle Shucart are the event co-chairs helping to make this signature fundraiser possible.

STARability Foundation serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing life-transforming opportunities that shine light on their abilities, not their disabilities. COVID-19 has changed the way STAR participants learn, work and connect with the community, with classes, activities and many social gatherings now conducted online. The goal of this event is to raise funds to support the programs that help STARability participants thrive.

Karen Govern, CEO of the STARability Foundation, says, “The event may be different this year, but what hasn’t changed during these challenging times of the pandemic is the need to help the STAR participants achieve all that they can. Support for this event shows that people believe in an inclusive community that welcomes people of all abilities.”
